About us
Since our foundation in 2011 in Düsseldorf as an entrepreneurial company with limited liability by Dr. Bernward Garthoff, we have specialized in the development of the life science industry in Germany’s largest federal state. One year later, the registered regional association partners, BioRiver-Life Science im Rheinland e.V. and BioIndustry e.V., merged through a capital increase to form a limited liability company in the Düsseldorf commercial register (HRB 65649). In December 2015, Dr. Bernward Garthoff transferred the majority of his shares to Förderverein Biotechnologie NRW e.V., which has been the main shareholder ever since.
From our beginnings until today, the organization of events of all kinds with all logistical and content-related aspects has been one of the central activities of BIO Clustermanagement NRW GmbH. In addition, we offer project management services, especially for internationalization activities and market entry in Germany.
